Please read these guidelines if you are interested in Society of Socialpreneurs hosting a Review or Giveaway for you. These guidelines are put into place to protect both us and you (the sponsor). However we do make certain exceptions for things. So please do not hesitate to contact me at teresa@societyofsocialpreneurs.com with your questions.
These are the following policies put in place for Product Reviews:
~ We review family-friendly direct sales products, social media books and products, electronics, etc. We reserve the right to refuse to complete the review if the product(s) sent were not pre-agreed upon.
~ All reviews are FREE of charge.
~ A product is required for all reviews and will not be returned.
~ Please allow 3 – 8 weeks for your review to be completed. Unless the review is “time sensitive”, we will do our best to promote in the needed time frame.
~ If you request an earlier date, we will work to accommodate you to the best of my ability.
~ You will receive an email with a link to the review once it has been posted.
~ We do not accept sample sizes for a review. Full-sized products are required so that we can adequately test out the product(s).
~ We are not responsible for any shipping costs. Any products or packages shipped COD will be refused and returned to sender.
~ You are welcome to add a coupon or discount code for readers attached to the review free of charge. Discounts that require a separate post will be subject to a fee. Please contact Teresa @ teresa@societyofsocialpreneurs.com for more information regarding this.
~ In the case of a negative review, I will contact you prior to posting and you will have the right to refuse the review post.
These following policies are put into place for Giveaways:
~ Giveaways are FREE of charge when combined with a product review.
~ Giveaways without a product review are subject to a flat fee. Please contact Teresa @ teresa@societyofsocialpreneurs.com for rates.
~ Giveaways typically run for a two week period (unless otherwise stated and requested) by the company.
~ Please inform me what the prize is when setting up the giveaway and eligibility for entry – (being Canada or the U.S.) Internationally or all of the above and guidelines you wish readers to follow such as (following you on Facebook, Twitter, your website) and so forth.
~ Giveaways open to the U.S. will allow for the majority of my readers to enter.
~ This decision is up to you (the company) since you are the one responsible for shipping the prize.
~ Society of Socialpreneurs is not responsible for shipping the prize to the winner.
~ Please do not ship the giveaway prize with the review product to me. Only ship the review product(s) please and thank you.
~ The main entry for a Giveaway is usually asking the reader to visit your site and comment on their favorite product.
~ Bonus entries can include : Following you on Facebook, Twitter, your blog and so forth along with following my website in any fashion.
~ Facebook Rules will not allow me to ask readers to post comments on your fan page or upload a picture to your wall for contest entry. I can ask them to like your page but that is it.
~ FTC regulations state I cannot ask a reader to make a purchase from you for bonus entries as it is a violation.
~ I ask that you ship prizes to the winner within 4 – 6 weeks of the giveaway ending and please send confirmation to me when the product was sent to the winner.
